stavo had been returning audrey’s intense and UNWAVERING gaze with no problem.  and when he’d grow tired of their little staring contest,  he’d casually look away.  he was never the type to get nervous.  even when this girl seemed to be observing him,    studying his every move as if she were attempting to find an answer in the way he reclined.  did his drawings really bother her that much ?   too bad he wouldn’t stop.  art was the best way to express his morbid, UNHEALTHY obsession with not just the lakewood six …  but with horror in general.  and he wasn’t going to let anyone’s suspicions change that.  so,   full of curiosity and mild amusement,   he’d poke fun at this.        you think i brought the ayawaska to the party ?  why would i dose myself ?        there’s a pause he immediately takes,  mainly so that she could finish accusing him,  but as soon as she’s done speaking,  he smirks and begins again.   ❛    i’m kind of flattered that you think i’m playing some game but i’m not.              i don’t think you can penalize me for showing up to a party.  it’s not like i knew it was an invitation only thing.   and it’s called ART.  it’s harmless.   ❛

❛ oh, SO IT’S HARMLESS that you just so happened to draw a picture of emma covered in blood the same night she was attacked —? ❛ it could have been a hallucination – the jury was still out on that one – but after a string of creepy text messages and phone calls   &   jake showing up dead, audrey wasn’t taking chances. not when her sanity   &   sense of control over the entire situation were gradually slipping – leaving her desperate, reaching for an answer to silence the noise. — the cool, confident look on stavo’s face only fueled her frustration as hands clenched into tightly coiled fists. a deep breath later  &  she forced herself to calm down – ❛ I DON’T BUY IT. ❛
